We use changes in visual function to understand how cognitive change happens in Parkinson’s
We have set up the Multimodal Parkinson’s project to shed light on how dementia happens in Parkinson’s disease, funded by the Wellcome Trust. So far 100 people with Parkinson’s and 56 controls have taken part at baseline, and we have now started inviting participants back for follow-up visits. These visits involve detailed neuropsychology, MRI brain scans, vision tests, and blood tests.
